Writing on the wall

The faded painted advertisements, found on the brick walls all over Pittsburgh, really interest me. I like the way they age and deteriorate. This one calls back to the days when Pittsburgh still manufactured steel.

This guy's name is Al. He liked my Minolta. We talked about our shared love for film. I know he's got one hell of a story. Maybe someday I'll hear it.

Summer Time!

As a kid, the Fourth of the July was the official summer time blow out. We woke up early, and stayed up late. Ate hamburgers until we were too full to move. Ran around like crazy. Blew things up. Nonstop fun. We made memories.

Live this summer, like it's your last. I promise you, you won't regret that.
